In August, I started a discussion titled, Let's experiment with an online MTB practice jam. Here's a draft of the idea for your feedback.

The feedback was helpful and positive so let’s do it!

I’m looking for a dozen+ subscribers to commit to this first online practice jam, starting Saturday, November 12, and ending Sunday, December 11. No charge for this jam, as participants will be helping me learn my way into it.

These people have priority since they chimed in with comments on the original discussion.

Rusty Baillie
Patricia Berthelier
Mark DePonzi
Renee Gregoire
John Harris
Michael Houlden
Patrick Mitzel
George Stuyt

The practice jam will take place via an online community platform that I’ve set up. It has all the technical features we need.

What exactly is an online MTB practice jam? And what are the main benefits? See the original post and discussion.

Hey Griff,

I'm in! However! We're just about to transition to our Winter Pattern. We're closing up our 3 season warm climate home and moving back into our RV for the cold season and getting back on the road. I probably won't be able to get on my bike much over the first week - 10 days, but I'll jump in as soon as I can. I'll chime in the conversations though.

I'll focus on a trio of skills:

-building a perpetual pump corning in CW (I can do this CCW until cardio & muscle fatigue set in)

-improving bunny hop from the middle of the bike instead of relying on the far more dangerous manual initiation

-nose pivots and stoppies

Michael
