This is a lot to digest and I'm gonna need to think this through. Most of the time I'm focused internally when I'm deliberately practicing, on what I should be "trying to feel." Is your "stick on the lip" drill an example of an external cue? As in "hit the stick with your back tire as you press into the face of the jump?"
When should we pay attention to external vs. internal cues when learning, practicing, or performing MTB skills?
