Thanks so much for including me in this! How cool that you got an Inspired Hex - that's my favorite colorway (I'm still riding the red one). I'm from the Midwest originally (Wisconsin) - hopefully we'll get a chance to ride together sometime!

Hey Aaron, you're welcome.

Unfortunately, my sweet Inspired Hex (blue) was stolen about 6 months after I bought it. With the insurance money, I bought a Specialized P3 Pro that a fellow MTB coach had for sale. He'd had customized it for street trials and I liked the idea of a dual-purpose bike. So far so good.

I spent a few decades riding mototrials before I discovered MTB and our Minnesota club (UMTA) would often collaborate with the Wisconsin club (WOTA) on our season schedules. I got to know the Smage family - dad Noel and sons Pat and Phil. I'm guessing you've met Pat?

I met Pat this past summer at the Oregon Mototrials Championship event - great guy!

I rode a trial in Duluth with him when he was about 12. He was impressive even then!

Welcome Aaron! I have a blue Hex also. While the red one you have does pop as well, I think the blue is a classic color. When I think of Ali riding a Hex, it is always the blue one I see him riding. I am guessing that is due to when I first started to seriously follow him, that was the bike he was on. Cheers!

Aaron, in case you didn't notice, Patrick is the riding buddy I featured at the bottom of my post about peer learning. He frequently bugs me to watch your new how-to videos!

This is amazing, Griff! And if everyone mentioned wants to come on the show, I'd love to jam on air!

Thanks, Danielle. I'm trying to think of a way that we all could collaborate on something. Let me know if you and Jamie have any bright ideas!
